Hoist didactics

Our modular laboratory hoist is designed specifically for the multi-stage qualification of specialist personnel. It imparts the necessary drive technology knowledge in a practical and easily accessible manner.

Drive configuration, combination, startup and control

Hoists represent a particularly demanding application in the field of drive technology. As well as demanding correct configuration of suitable drives, such systems also require special safety regulations for later operation to be observed in the initial design concept. A wide range of gear unit / motor combinations can be used. Moreover, a centralized or decentralized concept can be employed when it comes to controlling the power supply.

Modular hoist concept for multi-stage qualification

Our application-oriented demo unit constitutes a flexible laboratory hoist with a modular design. It is configured to industrial standards and can move loads weighing up to 50 kg. The qualification is based on a multi-stage concept: As an interdisciplinary, didactical system, the laboratory hoist provides budding specialists with comprehensive, practical knowledge encompassing everything from the configuration of such units to their startup and control. This also includes coordinating the corresponding sensors and actuators as well as practicing on a centralized or decentralized control cabinet solution.
