02.04.26 • SEW‑EURODRIVE Oy has achieved the highest Occupational Safety Level Classification, Level I – World Class, awarded by the Zero Accident Forum coordinated by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health. The classification recognises our long‑term safety work, proactive practices and strong employee commitment.

This year, a record total of 145 workplaces received the Occupational Safety Level Classification, of which 60 achieved the zero accident target.

”The Level I Occupational Safety Classification   (PDF, 200 KB) we have received is an important recognition of the work we have done to improve safety. It confirms that we are on the right path and encourages us to continue developing occupational safety,” says Juha Korhola, Managing Director of SEW‑EURODRIVE Oy.

Building safety together

Responsibility is a central part of SEW‑EURODRIVE Oy’s strategy and daily operations, and occupational safety is an essential element of this whole.

”Our zero accident goal is realised through everyday actions and careful practices that keep our working environment safe. More than 570 days without accidents is a great achievement earned together. It shows that everyone takes responsibility for themselves and their colleagues,” says Olli Talvitie, HSEQ Manager at SEW‑EURODRIVE Oy.

SEW‑EURODRIVE Oy provides a safe workplace for both its employees and visitors to its premises. We invest in preventive safety work and the continuous development of our operations. Together, we identify areas for improvement in our working environment and develop operating practices based on observations. In addition, we train our personnel in occupational safety matters and strengthen capabilities to maintain safe everyday operations across all areas of our business.

Zero Accident Forum

SEW‑EURODRIVE Oy is part of the Zero Accident Forum coordinated by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health. The forum brings together more than 600 Finnish organisations to develop occupational safety through cooperation and the sharing of best practices. Membership provides up‑to‑date information, benchmarking data and support for continuous safety development.
